Maria Teresa Almeida

Assistant Professor

Bio

PhD in Management (specializing in human resources and organizational behavior) from Iscte-IUL. Since 2023, she has been serving as an Invited Assistant Professor at FCH-UCP and as an integrated researcher at the Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing (CRC-W). She is an associate researcher at the Iscte Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte). She is an associate editor of the Journal of Management Development. Her main research areas include leadership and followership, particularly focusing on the study of followers' profiles and their mechanisms of resistance in destructive leadership processes. She has authored international publications in these fields. She participates in research and organizational projects.
