Transform4Europe Week “Beyond Borders” – Registration now open

Transform4Europe Week Spring 2024, which this year has chosen the theme "Beyond Borders" and will take place between May 20 and 24, with activities in Trieste (Italy) and Koper (Slovenia), is now open for registration until April 8.

Undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa can now register to take part in this week of academic, scientific and cultural activities.

The program offers eight courses:

  • Buildings Design driven by New European Bauhaus
  • Heritage beyond Borders for Societal Transformation: Interpretation and Education
  • Exploring Methods for Multicultural Social Science Research in the Contemporary Era
  • Environmental Genomics
  • Symmetry in Graphs
  • Suicide without Borders
  • Digital Marketing and Consumer Behavior
  • Collaborative Innovation and Design of Solutions in Tourism

The Transform4Europe Week "Beyond Borders" program includes themes such as Knowledge Entrepreneurship, Environmental Transformation, Digital Transformation, and Societal Transformation. It consists of debates, workshops, lectures, and networking activities.

All courses are taught in English and there will be a certificate and 3 ECTS credits for each course if students pass a knowledge test. Some classes will have an online phase, before or after Transform4Europe Week, in addition to the in-person classes from May 20th to 24th.

While the mornings are for classes, the afternoons of Transform4Europe Week are dedicated to sports, cultural and scientific activities.
