The purpose of this project is to investigate how remote employees, from all over Europe, perceive their careers to be successful, and what are the ongoing changes in their strategic career behaviours in a time in which working from home is “the new normal”. In this regard, we analyze three strategic behaviors - authenticity, balance and challenge - according to the Kaleidoscopic Career Model. The role of self-efficacy beliefs, the desire for career control, and perceived organizational support, as antecedents of those career behaviors, is assessed, as well, as, the consequences of their use on perceived career control, objective and subjective career success, and career satisfaction. As an outcome, this project will deliver a set of tailored strategies for company's relevant departments and stakeholders to properly implement measures that further align the nation-level cultural values and company's needs with the employee's career focus objectives. Conducted at the CRC-W (Católica Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing), integrated in Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (School of Human Sciences) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portuguese Catholic University), in Lisbon. In collaboration with Centro de Investigação em Sociologia Económica e das Organizações (SOCIUS/ ISEG/ULisboa), Universidad de Vallodolid, and Università degli Studi di Trieste (UniTS).
