This course aims at being a place for reflecting and discussing on the media’s relevance in both political communication and democratic processes, by analysing the dynamics between the Political System, the Media and Citizens. This courses aims to contribute theoretical and reflexive knowledge on the issues taught as well as developing student critical skills of decoding the institutional and non-institutional modus operandi of political actors in order to influence public opinion in contemporary societies.
