This seminar aims to introduce students to the key methodological strategies supporting the study of cultural artifacts. While seeking to enable students to contextualize, interpret and critique the object of study and place it comparatively within the larger body of cultural studies, the seminar has an instrumental scope targeted at providing the conceptual tools and methodological strategies that enable the practice of cultural analysis.
