Radio studies, sound media and journalism, as well as the emerging research related to the “audio blogging and podcasting” phenomenon are the starting points for a practical approach regarding the sound media product’s conception and presentation.
This discipline addresses the main types of production and podcasting models for different formats and genres, helping students to develop oral communication skills and discursive forms suitable for the sound medium.
The goal is to encourage students' autonomy in the podcast’s design, edition and communicational implementation, using the appropriate tools and mobile platforms. At the same time, this course aims to provide students with knowledge and expertise in a multiplatform scenario, mastering the multimedia communication main concepts and tools.
