How is citizenship defined and expressed within the complex web of 21st-century relations and interactions that currently define the State, while preserving its fundamental connection to free and responsible participation based on sustainability and a perspective of integral ecology? How does it articulate with political institutions and what new forms does it take on in a time of accelerated globalization? How does it relate to companies and markets, innovations and transformations in the professional world? How is citizenship expressed when faced with scientific and technological advances, in the sense of assuring an ecologically more sustainable future in search of a life of quality?
These different questions will be studied in 4 different modules within a dynamics of intersection and an attempt to re-signify the idea of citizenship. Four 15-hour thematic modules will be coordinated by a professor. In the closing class of each module, a guest specialist teacher will be invited.
